Video Presentation on Birding in West Thailand 28th Sept 2007

This event was originally meant to be a slide show on nesting bird but had to be changed at the last moment to a video show as Mr Ooi was sick. Dr Chan showed a one-hour video of his birding visit to Tung Yai Wildlife Reserve in Western Thailand instead. Only a few members turned up . The first part of the video showed some important historical sites in Kanchanaburi including the famous bridge over the River Kwai and the War Museum. This was followed by footages of birds in Tung Yai. The last minute sighting of the Spot-winged Starling was perhaps the most important highlight of the trip. The show ended at about 9.30 pm.
