MNS bags it with Tesco!

Every little bit you can do helps. Tesco suggests that you start to think about the damaging effects of using plastic bags every time you do your grocery shopping and offers up a greener (not to mention better looking) alternative with their Designer Green Bags.

The latest in Tesco’s Designer Green Bag campaign are bags by local fashion designer Rizalman.

Besides reducing your consumption of plastic, buying one of these ‘green bags’ will ensure you do your part for the environment in more ways than one. For every RM4.99 bag, RM 0.50 of the proceeds will go to the MNS GREENaid programme. 

Regular plastic bags which take at least a hundreds of years to decompose, release toxic chemicals into the soil.  Plastic bags are also considered a major ocean pollutants as bags that end up in the ocean often get mistaken by marine life as food.

Think green the next time you go shopping and make sure you’ve got an eco-friendly reusable bag handy!
