Project Manager – South East Asia Forest Policy

Base    : Malaysian Nature Society (MNS), Kuala Lumpur

Role   :

  • building the capacity of the partners in this multi-partner, 5-year project to engage in forest governance
  • building the capacity of civil society organisations in South East Asia (Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Papua New Guinea) to participate effectively in forest monitoring, management, planning and policy processes.

Requirement:

(a) excellent knowledge of forest conservation policy and practice

(b) substantial work experience (preferably five years or more) in nature conservation, with a track record of overseeing multi-partner initiative

(c) highly developed project management skills, including the demonstrated ability to effectively manage large grants.
